Implementation of EP 5B070200, 6B07102, 6M070200, 7M07102, 6D070200, 8D07102 is ensured by qualified teaching staff that meets the qualification requirements for licensing educational activities and has full scientific knowledge, modern teaching methods, the necessary skills and experience for the effective transfer of knowledge to students in the framework of educational process and organization of feedback. The teaching staff of the department is formed taking into account the profile of the specialty and the content of modular educational programs and standard plans of specialties according to the Typical qualification characteristics of the positions of teachers and equivalent persons (order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 338 of July 13, 2009).
The department invited the following foreign teachers to implement educational programs in 2013 - 2020: V.V. Nikulin (Binghamton State University, USA), S. E. Lyashevsky (Rochester Institute of Technology, USA), M.V. Khlebnikov (IPU RAS , Russia), A.F. Tuzovsky (Tomsk Polytechnic University, Russia), Varun Mathur (India), A.V. Markov (Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, Belarus)
The faculty of the department is constantly working to improve the educational process, the practical orientation of the curriculum, mastering the latest technologies and laboratory equipment. Over the past five years, new laboratories have been created equipped with equipment from leading companies in the field of automation, such as National Instruments (USA), FESTO Gmb (Germany). On the basis of the laboratories' data, teachers of the department regularly undergo trainings organized by FESTO Didactic such as “Fundamentals of Mechatronics”, “Programming Siemens Logic Controllers”, “Level, Flow, Pressure, Temperature Control Systems”, “Modern Industrial Pneumatic Automation” (over 50 certificates obtained) . Teachers of the department have been trained in the development of NationalInstruments technologies, including the LabView graphical programming environment, at NI Educational Centers in Novosibirsk, Moscow, Yerevan, Nur-Sultan. To master the world experience in introducing innovative technologies in educational activities, teachers of the department took advanced training courses at leading universities in the world in the UK, Belgium, and Germany.
In December 2019, at the initiative of the Department "System Analysis and Control" at the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov opened a dissertation council for the defense of doctoral dissertations in the scientific direction "Automation and Control".
The teaching staff includes the laureates of the title "Best University Teacher": Professor Beisenby M. A. (2007), Professor Orazbaev B. B. (2013), as well as holder of the international scholarship of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Bolashak", teacher Kalpakov E.
