Material and technical resources

Training in the educational programs "6B01511-Informatics", "7M01511-Informatics" and "8D01511-Informatics" is carried out in the educational building No. 2 at 11 Pushkin street. The year of commissioning of the building is 1984, the form of use is the property of the ENU named after L. N. Gumilyov. The total building area is 6223,1 sqm, useful area of 5320 sq. m. Total class rooms 2168,8 square meters, total seats, academic building No. 2 – 931.The total area of the Department of computer Science, as well as laboratories and classrooms assigned to the Department is more than 956.1 square meters. The premises meet the current sanitary and epidemiological requirements for their operating conditions, and meet the requirements of fire safety standards and regulations. The educational building No. 2 has internal water supply and Sewerage systems. The material and technical base contributes to the successful activity of the Gumilyov ENU. The University has all the necessary educational and material assets to implement its goals and objectives. 4 study rooms are involved in the training process(№407, 409, 503,506), 4 educational laboratories (№ 401, 405, 412, 414), sports hall with a total area of 152 sq. m. The Department of computer Science has a well-developed Park of computer and interactive equipment: the total number of computers is 83, all are connected to a local network and connected to the Internet, there are 4 interactive whiteboards, 4 video projectors, and free Wi-Fi access is provided in all academic buildings of the University. The following laboratories are used in the educational process of the Department of Informatics:

Apple Programming (room 405), IT-alem Network simulator (room 412), Educational robots (room 414), and classrooms: computer Architecture and system administration (room 407), System programming (room 409), didactic computer science room (room 503) and doctoral students ' office (room 506), equipped with all necessary technical equipment (computers, tablets, projectors, multimedia equipment). The software is purchased in accordance with the curriculum of disciplines that specify the software used in the training process. For example, to study computer Science, the MS Office package, Access DBMS, and the Delphi software environment are used. Each laboratory is provided with a passport that specifies the purpose and equipment, personal and fire protection equipment.
