The X International Conference on Computer Processing of Turkic Languages «TurkLang 2022» was held at the Faculty of Information Technology
At the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, on June 16-18, 2022, the 10th anniversary X International Conference on Computer Processing of Turkic Languages “TurkLang 2022” was held. On behalf of the Chairman of the Board - Rector Yerlan Battashevich Sydykov, the member of the Board - Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Yerkin Anuarovich Ongarbaev opened the conference. E. Ongarbaev greeted all fellow scientists, participants, wished them productive and efficient work of the conference.
The purpose of the international conference TurkLang is to create a common space for the development of computer linguistic applications for the Turkic languages. This conference was first held in 2013 in Astana at our university and was held in Istanbul (Turkey), Kazan (Tatarstan, RF), Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Simferopol (RF), Ufa (Bashkortostan, RF), Kyzyl (Tuva, Russian Federation) at universities, where entire scientific schools are engaged in computer processing of natural languages. The field of artificial intelligence is actively developing. Research on computer processing of the Turkic languages, including the Kazakh language, occupies a prominent place in the scientific world community. The conference in the traditional format was attended by representatives of the Institute of Applied Semiotics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, Kazakh National University named after. Al-Farabi, the Institute of Information and Computing Technologies in Almaty, as well as online, scientists from Turkey, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia and Kazakhstan took part.
Young scientists (students, undergraduates and doctoral students) actively participated in this conference. The following young participants were awarded the Best Youth Report nomination:
