FIT organized training in offline and online formats "Measures to prevent corruption among teachers and students"

 

 On November 17, 2021, the Faculty of Information Technology organized offline and online training "Measures to prevent corruption among teachers and students." The training was attended by the responsible officer of the Anti-Corruption Department of Nur-Sultan A. Kenebaeva and the head of the project office of Adep University, Commissioner for Ethics and Anti-Corruption, Ph.D. E. Nugymanov, faculty and about 105 students in the online format.

The moderator was the head of the project office "Ethics", Commissioner for Ethics and Anti-Corruption, Ph.D. E. Nugymanov thanked the leadership of the faculty, who organized the meeting, and the students who participate in the online meeting. The floor was given to the most important ATS officer of the Prevention Directorate of the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the city of Nur-Sultan A. Kenebaeva.

 The next speaker was the head of the Adep project office, who noted that within the framework of the Integrity Square project, Anticorrosive Centers were created and, as an employee of the information and educational staff, he was working on informing the public.

Concluding his speech, E. Nugymanov said that legal qualifications and culture, respect for the law should be a priority, and the fight against corruption, which is now widely discussed in society, is a common cause, and called for a joint fight against it.

Vice Dean for Work with Students of the Faculty of Information Technologies R.M. Ospanov noted that, given the relevance of this topic, it can be developed and solved through the use of information technology in the fight against corruption. In his report, he presented projects of measures that can be implemented not only in educational institutions, but also in other areas.

The relevance of these projects was discussed and supported by the teaching staff and special guests. At the end of the event, answers were given to students' questions and feedback was received.
