«JOB FAIR 2020» AT THE FACULTY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
On April 24, 2020, the Faculty of Information technologies of the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University hosted an online Job Fair on the CISCO WEBEX platform. The main goal of the event is to promote employment of graduates in organizations and enterprises of the Republic of Kazakhstan, cooperation between employers and the L. N. Gumilyov ENU to solve problems of practice and employment on a long-term basis.
The online conference was attended by the Dean-doctor of Economics Sh. Zh. Seilov, associate dean, heads of graduate departments, responsible for employment, graduates of bachelor's, master's and PhD-doctors of "Computer Science", "Computer engineering and software", " Informatics and Information Security", "Information systems", " Systems Analysis and Management" as well as chief specialists of the Department of career and business partnership Tuspekova Z.Zh. and Smagulova G.R.
Representatives of employing organizations were invited to the job fair by faculty departments: «AEO Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools», «National Academy of Education named after Y.Altynsarin», «School-lyceum 56» of Nur-Sultan, Astana Polytechnic college, «School-gymnasium 3» of Nur-Sultan, «Astana su аrnasy", "Networks Energy" LLP, Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company KEGOC, North Caspian operating company, «MMS group».
Employers explained to students about holding competitions for vacant positions, graduates were interested in questions about wages, employment conditions, career growth, and the availability of vehicles in the district. Graduates received good information about opportunities to get a job.
