Advanced training of undergraduates

Svanov Asylzhan, a master's student of the department, took a refresher course "Current issues of STEM education" in the period from September 30, 2021 to October 08, 2021 at the Belgrade National Research University.

The best Master's student of the Republic of Kazakhstan

 Undergraduates of the department Onalov Nurzhigit, Svanov Asylzhan became the winners of the republican contest "The Best undergraduate of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

 

 As foreign specialists of the department, leading scientists from foreign partner universities are invited, including in the 2021-2022 academic year: PhD Doctor, Professor of Istanbul Technical University (Istanbul, Turkey), Esref Adali to conduct classes for undergraduates of OP 7M06112 - Artificial Intelligence Technologies.

Most of the teachers are experts engaged by JSC "National Center for State Scientific and Technical Expertise", JSC "Textbook Center", JSC "Daryn Center" (Sharipbai A.A., Razakhova B.Sh., Omarbekova A.S., Kintonova A.Zh., Turebayeva R.D., etc.) and chairmen of the SAC in other universities (Sharipbai A.A., Bekmanova G.T., Razakhova B.Sh.).Special attention in the activities of the department is paid to the development of international relations with foreign universities.  The department cooperates with a number of leading universities of the near and far abroad, including: Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (Minsk, Republic of Belarus); Czech Technical University (Prague, Czech Republic); Lublin Technical University (Lublin, Poland); Istanbul Technical University (Istanbul, Turkey); National Research Nuclear University "MEPhI" (Moscow, Russia); St. Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics (St. Petersburg, Russia); North Caucasus Federal University (Stavropol, Russia), University of Western Attica (Athens, Greece), etc.As a result of the active participation of teachers of the department in the implementation of international projects Tempus Promis LMPI, class within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, master's programs "Computer Science" (second competence), "Computational Linguistics", "Administrator for the management and protection of computer systems and networks in enterprises" were developed, which contributes to the development of academic mobility.As part of the exchange of experience with foreign scientists and partner universities, the teaching staff of the department undergo advanced training in the study of modern information technologies and innovative teaching methods. So teachers of the University of Applied Sciences of Savonia (Finland) read courses "bigdata" and "advanced control in automation systems"; teachers of the University of Applied Sciences named after In Berlin (Germany), Boita taught the courses "data mining" and "storing and querying data from the Internet: an introduction to XML and semantic technologies".

 

    

 

 The teaching staff of the department attended lectures by foreign teachers: Professors V.V. Nikulin (Binghamton University, USA); S.E. Lyashevsky (Rochester Institute of Technology, USA), M.V. Khlebnikov (Institute of Management Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Russia), A.F. Tuzovsky (Tomsk Polytechnic University, Russia), A.V. Markov (Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, Republic of Belarus).

Scientific and methodological achievements

Teaching staff of the department are the authors of a number of teaching aids, textbooks, monographs, which are used by students in the educational process. These textbooks are widely available in the library fund of the university.
