"The educational program 6B01511-Computer Science includes the following types of professional practice during undergraduate studies:

The purpose of professional practice is to form students' positive motivation for pedagogical activity and the development of professional competencies that ensure readiness for pedagogical design of educational and methodological complexes of disciplines in accordance with the profile of preparation and conduct of various types of training sessions using innovative educational technologies; formation of skills to perform design, constructive, organizational, communicative and educational pedagogical functions; consolidation of psychological and pedagogical knowledge in the field of professional pedagogy and acquisition of skills of a creative approach to solving scientific and pedagogical tasks.
The objectives of professional practice are: the acquisition of experience of pedagogical work in a university setting; the formation of students' holistic understanding of pedagogical activity, pedagogical systems and structures of secondary education institutions; the development of personal and professional qualities of a teacher; the development of diagnostic techniques and empirical methods for studying the personality of a student and a school group; the study of the achievements of pedagogy of secondary / higher school, the current state the educational process of the university, advanced educational technologies.

Final conference on educational practice
The first step into the profession! Computer science students talked about their practical experience
An inspiring hearing of the results of the academic practice of 1st year students of the educational program 6B01511 – Informatics was held at the Department of Informatics of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU. Students of groups В011-1511-24-01, В011-1511-24-03, В011-1511-24-04 (English). Head of the practice: PhD, Associate Professor Abildinova G.M.
Our future IT educators shared their first professional impressions: how they watched school lessons live, studied educational documentation, got acquainted with digital platforms, and even taught.
"We saw how theory turns into practice. It was interesting to see how modern technology helps teachers and students!" the students shared.
The guys demonstrated excellent reflection, presented informative reports and vivid presentations. Practice has become not just a learning stage, but an important step towards a conscious professional path.
The heads of the practice highly appreciated the students' preparation, their initiative, responsibility and digital literacy.
The department expresses its gratitude to the partner school of the International school in Astana and personally to its employee Temirkhanova Meruert Sailauovna for cooperation and support in organizing practice! Together we are forming a new generation of teachers!

Final Conference on Psychological and Pedagogical Practice
From January 13 to April 19, 2025, second-year students from groups B011-1511-23-01, B011-1511-23-05, and B011-1511-23-07 completed a 14-week psychological and pedagogical practice at School-Lyceum No. 93 in Astana under a bilateral agreement.
During the practice, students demonstrated active participation and a responsible attitude toward the learning process. All students took an active part in the final conference, presented their individual presentations, and reported on the work they had accomplished.

Final Conference on Pre-Graduation Practice
From March 31 to April 12, 2025, fourth-year students of groups B011-1511-21-01 and B011-1511-21-02 completed their pre-graduation practice at the Department of Informatics of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
The practice was organized under the guidance of supervisors appointed by an official order. The pre-graduation practice is the final stage of a future teacher’s professional training. It was conducted as part of the educational process, in accordance with the work plan.
As a result of the practice, students actively participated in the final conference, with each student delivering an individual presentation and reporting on the work accomplished.

Final Conference on Industrial Practice
On March 27, 2025, the final report on the industrial practice of students enrolled in the educational program "6B01511 - Computer Science" was presented. The practice supervisors were Acting Associate Professors of the "Computer Science" Department, Z.B. Kopeev and G.O. Isakova.
For 10 weeks, students underwent industrial practice in secondary education institutions (schools) of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the final conference, they shared their accumulated experience and acquired practical skills while completing the assignments outlined in the department’s schedule. They presented reports on their practice bases and defended their work.
Additionally, students proposed suggestions for improving the organization of the practice process. They also answered questions from the commission members and practice supervisors.

Professional practice is one of the most important components of professional training in the direction of “01 Pedagogical Sciences”. It represents an effective mechanism for transferring acquired knowledge and skills from the field of theory to the field of everyday professional pedagogical activity.
Pedagogical practice provides for the preparation of the future master's student for the implementation of the educational process in general education institutions, colleges, and higher educational institutions. The work of master's students involves developing educational materials and conducting classes in psychological and pedagogical disciplines within the framework of bachelor's training programs. The scope of classes and requirements for educational materials are determined by the higher education institution implementing the relevant master's programs.
Research practice is an integral part of the main educational master's program. Research practice within the framework of the master's program in the field of training pedagogical sciences is focused on the formation and improvement of the research competence of the master's student in the field of conducting experimental work on the topic of the master's thesis, as well as the use of diagnostic tools for conducting research, writing scientific articles, and manuals.

DOCTORAL STUDENTS
The educational programs “8D01511 – Computer Science” and “8D01124 – Pedagogical Measurements” include the following types of professional practice during doctoral studies:

Pedagogical practice of doctoral students is carried out with the aim of acquiring new knowledge, skills and practical skills in the field of modern teaching methods in the higher education system. It is carried out with the aim of consolidating the theoretical and methodological knowledge acquired in the process of training doctoral students, and developing the necessary professional skills and competencies, as well as mastering best practices in the field of psychological and pedagogical education. Pedagogical practice can be carried out during the period of theoretical training without interruption from the educational process.
Research practice is carried out with the aim of studying the latest theoretical and methodological, didactic, methodological and technological achievements of both domestic and foreign sciences, consolidating practical skills in the use of modern methods of scientific research, diagnostics, processing and interpretation in the direction of dissertation research.
