The mobility of teachers and undergraduates of L.N.Gumilyov ENU took place by a trip to Turkey: 3 teachers and 2 undergraduates.

On November 25-27, 2022, project coordinator Serik M., project member Balgozhina G.B., 2nd year master student Abdirey L. and 1st year master student Nyyazkhanov M. underwent mobility through the events “STEM project training and STEM & Makers Fest/Expo, November 25-27, 2022".
As part of the Integrated Approach to STEM Teacher Training (STEM) project under the European Erasmus + program, from November 25-27, 2022, in Nevsehir (Turkey), an event called “STEM project training and STEM & Makers Fest/ExpoSTEM & Makers Fest/Expo".
On the first day, November 25, 2022, there was a defense of projects from representatives of partner universities in Finland, Ireland, and Kazakhstan. Evaluation and consultation was given by experts from the partner universities, as well as by the main coordinator, Mr. Jeaneric Lundquist.
From the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, 2 projects were presented, accompanied by a professor of the Department of Computer Science, Ph.D. Serik M., and doctoral student of the Department of Computer Scince Balgozhina G.B.

The first project was presented by the 1st year undergraduate student of the educational program "7M01525-STEM Education" Niyazkhanov Madiyar. Project theme: "Smart Photobioreactor". Scientific consultants are Professor of the Department of Computer Science, Doctor of Pediatric Sciences, Serik Meruert, doctoral student of the Department of Computer Science Nurgalieva Symbat.

The goal of the project is to create an algae photobioreactor that will use artificial intelligence to better process and produce biomass. This prototype is more stable, efficient, manageable, and smaller than other bioreactor prototypes.

The goal of the project is to use a neural network to detect forest fires from space. It transmits all the data to the second robot, the firefighter, which works completely autonomously from people. They will hit the spot and extinguish the fire with the help of special systems that record the area of fire intensity.
On the second, third days, i.e. On November 26-27, 2022, a festival was held at the University of Nevsehir, Hadji Bektash Veli, where a demonstration of projects was held: Turkey, Ireland, Finland, Kazakhstan, including partner universities of M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University., A. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University.
The projects of our undergraduates, as well as their worthy performance, aroused deep interest among the university administration, representatives of other projects, as well as among the guests of the festival.
As a result of this event, the scientific project of Nyyazkhanov Madiar was awarded the Diploma of the 1st degree, and Abdirey Laura, the Diploma of the 2nd degree.
All participants of the event "STEM project training and STEM & Makers Fest/Expo STEM & Makers Fest/Expo" were awarded certificates.

November 25-27, 2022 within the framework of the project "STEM project training and STEM & Makers Fest / Expo" to me, student of the master's program of the group "7M01525-STEM education" of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University had the opportunity to present his project at the international level in the city of Nevsehir, Turkey.
The project itself is based on solving global problems, such as the timely detection and localization of large forest fires. As we know, forest fires are considered one of the main causes of climate warming. Carbon dioxide emissions during a fire also have a negative effect on people and nature. The solution was to create a prototype forest fire robot "Forest Firefighter Robot".
The robot independently, with the help of fire and flame detection sensors, goes directly to the fire and decides to put out the fire with water. To minimize forest fire detection errors, a convolutional neural network (CNN) was additionally used, which was trained using 943 photographs of various forest fires, from different angles and heights. It is worth noting that I used 2 different microcontrollers to control the robot, namely Lego EV3 and Arduino, connected to each other by an I2C interface.
Ways to implement the idea of future projects without damaging nature are of great value for our country, and I think the same is true all over the world. For this reason, when assembling the body of the robot, I did not use glue and other materials with a harmful composition. I also opted for a robot crawler, which contributes to minimal disruption when driving in forests, as conventional tires destroy roads and become unusable over time.
For visual perception by visitors, the demonstration of the work of the robot was supplemented by a poster on the layout. The presentation of the projects and visual demonstration attracted a lot of attention and aroused great interest from the participants, children and their parents.
The event “STEM & Makers Fest/Expo Cappadocia”, which was held in collaboration with the University of Nevsehir Hadji Bektash Veli (NEVÜ), the Nevsehir Provincial Department of National Education, the NEVÜ Kapadokya Technopark, the STEM & Maker Laboratory of Hacettepe University, universities from countries such as Kazakhstan, Sweden, Ireland and Finland impressed me with their scale and the involvement of scientists, students, and most importantly children. After all, the future belongs to the younger generation. I am glad that even from a young age, children can learn science visually at such events by touching it with their hands, seeing with their eyes, experimenting and testing with doctors of science in a group at the same table. Among the enthusiasts of science and technology, academicians, students and scientists there were active discussions and proposals for improving the work and the exchange of experience and ideas.
The popularization of science and research, projects and STEM programs at the international level, in my opinion, has a positive effect on the development of education in general, promotes personal growth, the development of creative thinking and improves knowledge and skills along with the education received.
I liked that the event was organized in 3 days, so that those wishing to have enough time to learn and not only within the framework of their university, the doors were open for everyone. There were interested children and students who came on the second day. They asked interesting questions, they were surprised. Now there are a lot of paid courses and commercial schools for children with the aim of learning science. But this kind of international event provides an affordable opportunity for everyone at any age to get to know science in interesting ways and choose a path for themselves in the future.

scientific conference «FARABI ӘLEMІ»
On April 6-9, 2020, the al-Farabi Kazakh national University hosted the international scientific conference of students and young scientists «FARABI ALEMI» as part of the VII international Farabi readings. There were several sections on the following topics at the conference: «Actual problems of computer science and computer engineering», «Intelligent systems and process control», «Information systems and information protection». The event was attended by students of the faculty of information technologies of the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. Following the conference conference, the doctoral student of the specialty «6D011100-Computer Science» Mukhambetova Meiramgul Zharollayevna took the III prize place, the scientific adviser is Head of the Department of Informatics, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor Serik Meruert. According to the research topic of the doctoral student, methods of configuring servers in the local network and in cloud platforms, the implementation of the hybrid cloud principle and the implementation of methods for the educational process of the high education were discussed. The topic aroused the interest of the audience, many questions were asked and discussed.

XI Republican student subject Olympiad in the specialty "5B011100-INFORMATICS".
From 22 to 24 April 2019, the XI Republican subject Olympiad among students in the specialty "5B011100-Informatics"was held.
17 higher educational institutions of the country took part.
Each University provided a team of 3 people: students of 1-4 courses studying in the specialty "5B011100-Informatics".
The Grand opening was held in the 208 auditorium of the First President, the main building of the Eurasian national University.
According to the regulations, the Olympiad of students of the specialty "5B011100-Informatics" was held in 2 rounds. The results of round 2 were also calculated using the Contester system. The system automatically puts the team (student) in the first place, which was displayed correctly and in a short period of time.
The first round is a team tour. The tour was held between teams of all universities.
The first place was taken by the Caspian state University of technology and engineering named after sh. Esenov,,,,
The second place was taken by the South Kazakhstan state pedagogical University and the Kazakh state women's pedagogical University.
The third place was taken by the Kazakh national pedagogical University. Abay, Pavlodar state pedagogical University.S. toraigyrova, Zhetysu state University.After I. Zhansugurov.

During the Olympiad, participants visited the University Museum. The Department also organized a bus tour of the city of Nur-Sultan.
The organization and holding of the Olympiad was held at a very high level. The teamwork of faculty, engineers of the Department, technical support, under the guidance of head of Department Alzhanova A. K. became a measure of excellence of the Department.
The winners were presented with memorable gifts. Thank you letters to all participants.

Marathon on educational robotics (06.04.2018)
Within the framework of the Decade of Science and the VIII International Scientific School "Modern Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) by Fields of Application", a marathon on educational robotics was organized on April 4-14, 2018. The marathon was held with the support of the Information Technologies Department of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. Organizers and judges were teachers and doctoral students of the Department of Computer science.
