On September 21, a curatorial hour was held for 1st-year students of the specialty "Information systems", it was directed to the topic "Religious extremism and terrorism". 5 groups took part in the curatorial hour, including senior curator Kantureeva M. A., curator of the group AZH-11, AZH-13 Nekesova A. A., curator of the group AZH-15, AZH-17 makhazhanova U. T., curator of the group AZH-19, is-12 Lamasheva Zh. b. the event was attended by the chief specialist of the Department of social and civil development of the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian national University - Daribay Muratbek Ontalapovich, who spoke in detail about this topic. Including the state program on countering religious extremism and terrorism in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2018-2022. The goal of the program is to ensure the security of people, society and the state from manifestations of violence in religious extremism and threats of terrorism. Its task:
1.Improvement of measures for the prevention of religious extremism and terrorism aimed at creating immunity in society against radical ideology and zero tolerance for radical manifestations;
2.Reducing the impact of external factors on the radicalization of the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
3.Improving the effectiveness of detecting and suppressing religious extremism and terrorism, including by improving the system for ensuring the activities of special state and law enforcement agencies;
4.Improving the system for responding to acts of religious extremism and terrorism, as well as minimizing and eliminating their consequences.
Target indicator: 1.reducing the number of people who advocate extremist ideas aimed at inciting religious discord or hostility. 2.the percentage of acts of terrorist or other extremist violence that were obtained and promptly cut down (at the stages of forming intentions, preparing, or attacking). 3.the level of readiness to respond to acts of terrorism on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as to minimize and (or) eliminate the consequences of terrorism.
