Lectures by FIT scientists at Fergana State University

The scientists of the Faculty of Information Technology - Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Associate Professor of "Information Security", PhD Zhanar Akhmetova and Associate Professor of "Information Systems", PhD Ayagoz Mukhanova recently returned from a business trip abroad, during which they gave lectures at Fergana State University (Fergana, Uzbekistan).

Zhanar Akhmetova, Deputy Dean of FIT, read lectures for students of Mathematics and Informatics Faculty in 60610200 - "Information systems and technologies" and held a training seminar for teachers, graduate students and doctoral candidates on analysis and assessment of information security risks.

Ayagoz Mukhanova, Associate Professor of the Department of Information Systems, delivered lectures and conducted practical classes on the basics of programming for students of the departments of "Information Technologies" and "Applied Mathematics and Informatics".

As part of this business visit, Zhanar Akhmetova, Deputy Dean of FIT, gave a presentation on scholarship programs for studying at universities in Kazakhstan, introduced students and graduate students to our university, inviting them to study at the ENU.

As a result of the business visit to Fergana State University, both sides agreed to further develop cooperation between the two universities and faculties.

"I am confident that the close cooperation between the universities of the two brotherly states will develop for the benefit of the prosperity of science and higher education of our countries" - summed up Zhanar Akhmetova.
